Superman and Krypto

Superman is a tough character to get right. He is simultaneously the most iconic, archetypal superhero and also one of the most dated looking. Changing one minor detail can totally alter how people perceive him. The best example is Alex Ross using black instead of gold for the hopeless Kingdom Come Superman's logo.

EDIT: Replaced an old drawing with a new one. Wanted to draw Krypto. Costume design is mostly based on the current look in the comics and movies but I added some things like yellow on sleeves and boots, also a more modern haircut.
